As many in the film world know Alfred Hitchcock: “The Master of Suspense” is one of the fathers of classic cinema spanning multiple genres from mystery thriller to action adventure to suspenseful horror to even comedic drama. Starting out in the silent era he quickly was recognized as a gifted director for his visual attentiveness to detail, tension building atmosphere and thrilling storytelling. Directing some of the biggest names in Hollywood such as James Stewart, Gregory Peck, Ingrid Bergman, Cary Grant, Grace Kelly, Laurence Olivier, Joan Fontaine. Hitch was able to show the audience the full essence of what a “Hitchcockian” classic was.

His film-making techniques were passed down to generations of future ambitious directors. It can be shown in the works of Steven Spielberg’s Jaws (1975), David Fincher’s Panic Room (2002), Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction (1994) and Inglorious Basterds (2009), The Coen Brothers’s No Country For Old Men (2007), David Lynch’s Mulholland Drive (2001), Martin Scorsse’s Shutter Island (2010) and so many more artists.
